Dining at MSJ
Kate is a trained vegetarian chef and worked as such for several years in England catering for prestige weddings and events. She therefore very much enjoys the much less-stressed environment of cooking for our guests and ensuring that their experience is memorable. Adrian is also a very accomplished cook and is particularly adept at preparing Japanese dishes that were passed down to him from his mother. Wherever possible, ingredients are sourced locally and are organic. We are pleased to offer a variety of meal options to our guests, however as vegetarians, we do not cook meat. (Fish is available on request). You can choose from a simple platter of cold snacks right up to a four-course gourmet meal – see meal options below. All meals include wine (or soft drinks) and coffee. For special occasions we are very happy to collaborate with you to provide a celebration to remember. For all meal requests, we ask for 24 hours notice if possible and for you to inform us of any allergies or preferences. When we receive a request, we will extend the invitation to our other guests to make the evening more congenial but if you wish to dine alone you can also request this.

Our meals are made with ingredients that are fresh, locally sourced and organic whenever possible. Please let us know if you have any particular requests or dietary requirements. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for provision of evening meals. A Picnic Lunch can be provided at a charge of 15€/person. Please request this the evening before.
